 Erie Police Investigating Armed Robbery at Convenience Store in Diehl Article Written: March 14, 2025 7:28 AM An Armed Robbery occurred on Tuesday at the Quick Stop. 2119 Buffalo Road Diehl, Erie, Pennsylvania Erie Police is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Tuesday at the Quick Stop in the 2100 block of Buffalo Road in the Diehl neighborhood of East Erie. The robbery occurred around 10:30 PM on March 11th. Police say two people made entry into the store, one of them armed with what appeared to be a .22 caliber rifle. The cashier armed herself with a knife, and a struggle ensued resulting in that cashier getting minor cuts on her hands. The suspects escaped with an undetermined amount of money. Erie Police is continuing to investigate.

Improvements Continue to Bayfront Parkway in Erie Article Written: January 31, 2025 at 8:47 AM A new Traffic Signal being installed West Bayfront Parkway & Cranberry Street Bayfront Erie, Pennsylvania PennDOT has been continuing their progress on the Bayfront Parkway improvement project, one of their improvements is almost completed which is adding a traffic signal at the intersection of West Bayfront Parkway and Cranberry Street in the Bayfront neighborhood of Erie. The intersection which previously had a pedestrian light that would flash if a pedestrian wanted to cross, PennDOT is hoping the new traffic signal will make the intersection a lot more safer for drivers and pedestrians. Suspect Arrested in connection to Burton fatal Shooting

   Article Written: January 30, 2025 7:39 AM 18 year old Kyleshania Pacley of East Erie was arrested. A suspect was recently arrested for being involved in a fatal shooting that killed a 21 year old man. Kyleshania Pacley of East Erie was arrested on charges relating to murder, robbery and unlawful theft. The shooting happened on January 17th in the 1800 block of Fairmount Parkway in the Burton neighborhood of East Erie. Canon McGarvey of East Erie was shot outside of his car and died three days later at UPMC Hamot. It is also known that Kyleshania Pacley is the daughter of Mauris Pacley who was shot and killed in 2021 at Bogey's Tavern, located at 2105 Buffalo Road in the Diehl neighborhood of East Erie. Erie Police are currently looking into why the argument took place which caused the shooting.

 Millcreek Pentecostal Church Plans to Relocate to Harborcreek Article Written: June 2, 2024 6:36 AM One Millcreek Township church plans to relocate and build a brand new bigger building in Harborcreek Township. Grace Slavic Pentecostal Church, located at 5865 Carriage Hill Drive in the Shenandoah Meadows neighborhood of Millcreek, plans on building a brand new bigger church building at 2850 East 38th Street in Harborcreek. The reason for the move is due to the growing population of Ukrainian people in the Erie area who attend the church, which the church has no more room at their current location. The lot where the church is moving to in Harborcreek was previously home to the Saint John Kanty Preparatory School. The land, which has been sitting abandoned since 2012 was last used by NovaCare before they moved to East Erie. The church plans on demolishing the two vacant abandoned buildings on the property and build a brand new bigger church property on the lot.

 Man in Custody for Bayfront Shooting Article Written: May 22, 2024 8:10 AM Erie Police Responding to a Shots Fired Scene West 6th Street & Raspberry Street Bayfront Erie, Pennsylvania One man is in custody after shooting another man twice Monday morning in the 1000 block of West 6th Street near Raspberry Street in the Bayfront neighborhood of Erie. Erie Police said the alleged shooter, a 24 year old man, is currently in custody and being questioned. Police also said the victim is a 37 year old man whose injuries were to the hip and abdomen after being shot twice during the incident. Erie Police are still investigating on what the cause was for the shooting.

 Millcreek Police Investigating Hit & Run Rollover Accident 5/2/2024 8:02 AM Millcreek Police are investigating a hit and run vehicle accident on a busy intersection in Millcreek Township. The crash happened Wednesday around 7:30 PM at the intersection of Zuck Road & Zimmerly Road in Millcreek Township. A black Nissan heading east on Zimmerly Road, ran a red light and crashed into a red SUV turning north onto Zuck Road causing the SUV to rollover. The black Nissan took off on Zimmerly Road towards the Millcreek Mall area. The driver and the passenger of the red SUV were reported to have no major injuries and released from UPMC Hamot in Downtown Erie the following night, Millcreek Police are still searching for a damage black Nissan.
