 Man in Custody for Bayfront Shooting Article Written: May 22, 2024 8:10 AM Erie Police Responding to a Shots Fired Scene West 6th Street & Raspberry Street Bayfront Erie, Pennsylvania One man is in custody after shooting another man twice Monday morning in the 1000 block of West 6th Street near Raspberry Street in the Bayfront neighborhood of Erie. Erie Police said the alleged shooter, a 24 year old man, is currently in custody and being questioned. Police also said the victim is a 37 year old man whose injuries were to the hip and abdomen after being shot twice during the incident. Erie Police are still investigating on what the cause was for the shooting.

 4-Nation Gang Members Indicted from 2023 FBI Investigation Article Written: May 15, 2024 8:07 AM A total of around 50 gang members and more counting have been indicted following the East Erie 4-Nation gang case which was done by the FBI of Pittsburgh in 2023 which collaborated with many fellow Erie area police departments as well as the Pennsylvania State Police and the Buffalo Police Department in Buffalo, New York.  Millcreek Police Investigating Hit & Run Rollover Accident 5/2/2024 8:02 AM Millcreek Police are investigating a hit and run vehicle accident on a busy intersection in Millcreek Township. The crash happened Wednesday around 7:30 PM at the intersection of Zuck Road & Zimmerly Road in Millcreek Township. A black Nissan heading east on Zimmerly Road, ran a red light and crashed into a red SUV turning north onto Zuck Road causing the SUV to rollover. The black Nissan took off on Zimmerly Road towards the Millcreek Mall area. The driver and the passenger of the red SUV were reported to have no major injuries and released from UPMC Hamot in Downtown Erie the following night, Millcreek Police are still searching for a damage black Nissan.

Child Development Centers, which has many locations in Erie County as well as Crawford County, is willing to help low income families who can't afford daycare services the help they need for their children. "We are always willing to help any family who are struggling to pay for daycare, I grew up as a poor child and don't want other children to have to deal with what I have gone through, it just breaks my heart and I always welcome them with open arms to the Child Development Center." says Rina Irwin, who is the CEO of Child Development Centers.  Investigation Continues after 2-year-old Found Dead in East Erie Article Written: March 10, 2024 7:08 AM Crime Scene Tape Outside a Home in the Lake City Dwellings Projects 310 East 16th Street Central City Erie, Pennsylvania Erie Police are investigating the death of a toddler who was found on East 16th Street. Erie Police were called to the scene February 29th at 7 am for a missing child. Authorities found the missing 2-year-old girl dead outside the Lake City Dwellings apartments in the 300 block of East 16th Street in the Central City neighborhood of East Erie. Police believe the toddler most likely succumbed to elements. Residents in Central City are left shaken after the recent news hit their eastside neighborhood. Walgreens has announced that the Harborcreek drug store on the corner of Buffalo Road and Nagle Road will be permanently closing down on April 10th after having issues with poor sales and fewer customers.
