Erie Police are still searching for suspects involved in multiple shooting and gun-related incidents throughout the City of Erie this week. As of now, Erie Police are unsure is the shooting incidents are possibly connected or if there are more people involved.

The first incident occurred on April 30th when Erie Police were dispatched to Rodger Young Park in the Burton neighborhood of East Erie for a report of an unknown male chasing people with a gun. The suspect was never found and still remains at-large.

The next day on May 1st, Shot Spotter alerted that shots had been fired in the area of East 8th Street and Parade Street in the Saint Mary neighborhood of East Erie. When officers arrived, a witness informed them that the unknown suspect had fled the area. The suspect remains at-large.

On May 5th, Shot Spotter alerted that shots had been fired in the 500 block of East 5th Street in the East Bayfront neighborhood of East Erie. Officers found that an occupied house has been struck multiple times by gunfire. Video showed three black males walking down the street, when one pulled out a gun and started firing into the house. The suspects remain at-large.

The next day on May 6th, Shot Spotter alerted that 17 shots had been fired in the area of West 10th Street and Raspberry Street in the Bayfront neighborhood of Erie. Officers found upon arriving on scene that a 19-year-old male had been shot. Detectives are still investigating and the suspects for that crime still remain at-large.

Erie Police are still investigating all of the gun-related crimes and are hoping to bring an answer once more information is revealed.
