 Failed Business Park in Burton Coming Back to Life

A business park in Burton which was originally deemed a commercial failure, is coming back to life after a new business opened at the park. Joyce A. Savocchio Business Park, which had its name changed to Savocchio Opportunity Park in 2023 as major development was underway for the vacant business park. The business park which opened in 2005 had only one business which is Paragon Print Systems, well a new business has recently opened in the park. Integrated Agriculture Systems, located at 1811 Paragon Drive in the Burton neighborhood of East Erie, has recently opened their doors with bringing more jobs to the area. INTAG, which is a Harrisburg-based sustainable agriculture company, is looking forward to seeing more businesses be developed at the business park. "The land here is very good for development, there is so much opportunity for business owners to open up shop here." says Robert Hess, the owner of Paragon Print Systems. Savoochio Opporunity Park, which is now owned by the Erie County Redevelopment Authority is continuing to sell the land to any business owner who would want it, there is also plans in the works to bring a community greenhouse facility to the business park.
