 Erie Police Have One Man in Custody Following a Shooting at a Burton Gas Station

After serving two search warrants, Erie Police have one person in custody and continue to question others following a shooting that took place on Monday afternoon.

Emergency responders were called to the Speed Check Convenience Store and Gas Station in the 1500 block of Buffalo Road in Burton.

Once they arrived on the scene, police found a 16-year-old victim with a gunshot wound. Police are saying the injury appears to be non life-threatening.

Police took 16-year-old Abdullah Osamah Ismael into custody. He was charged under the Fisher Bill with aggravated assault, reckless endangering another person and related charges.

Police are looking for Tayveon Gillespie. He is being charged under the Fisher Bill with criminal attempt at homicide and aggravated assault.

 No Confirmation of Body Found in Lawrence Park is of Missing Lawrence Park Woman Article Added: November 15, 2023 at 2:04 PM Lawrence Park Police and Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a tragic sight Wednesday morning in Lawrence Park. Lawrence Park Fire Department was called to the Lawrence Park Golf Club at 3700 East Lake Road in Lawrence Park where a body of a woman was found at the mouth of Fourmile Creek. Lawrence Park Police and Pennsylvania State Police have blocked off Fourmile Creek Road, East Lake Road to Lawrence Parkway, Iroquois Avenue and Nobel Avenue while the investigation is ongoing.
