More members of the East Erie street gang were indicted on drug charges after an investigation was done by the FBI of Pittsburgh. 4-Nation, a street gang in the 400 block of East 24th Street in the Central Eastside neighborhood of East Erie was pretty much ended after most of its members were charged. 50 people who were identified as 4-Nation gang members were being seen distribute in Jamestown, New York, Ashtabula, Ohio and Corry, Pennsylvania. Drugs were also being disturbed to other towns in Erie County like Millcreek Township, Lawrence Park and Wesleyville. The FBI and Erie Police are not convinced this will improve the City of Erie but believe it is a start to cleaning up the streets and Erie’s major drug problem.
