 Police Investigating a Shooting at an East Erie Park

Erie Police are currently investigating a shooting that occurred in the parking lot of Rodger Young Park near Buffalo Road & Downing Avenue in the Burton neighborhood of East Erie. Not much is currently known of what happened as the scene is still under investigation but what is known is gunshots were heard around 3 am last night and a body was found shortly after in the parking lot bleeding out. The situation is still being investigated and it is not known if there was a possible altercation or a drive-by shooting incident. More information will be posted later when it comes out, this is still an ongoing situation.

 No Confirmation of Body Found in Lawrence Park is of Missing Lawrence Park Woman Article Added: November 15, 2023 at 2:04 PM Lawrence Park Police and Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a tragic sight Wednesday morning in Lawrence Park. Lawrence Park Fire Department was called to the Lawrence Park Golf Club at 3700 East Lake Road in Lawrence Park where a body of a woman was found at the mouth of Fourmile Creek. Lawrence Park Police and Pennsylvania State Police have blocked off Fourmile Creek Road, East Lake Road to Lawrence Parkway, Iroquois Avenue and Nobel Avenue while the investigation is ongoing. Erie County Coroner, Lyell Cook has not released the name of the victim but has stated that there is no fowl play involved.
