 City of Erie To Pave Certain Burton Roads

The City of Erie is planning on paving a few roads in the Burton neighborhood of East Erie, the City has provided a list of those roads below. The roads below will start a No Parking rule on August 29th and end on September 3rd from 6 am to 6 pm or the vehicle will be towed away.

  • 1500 block of Linwood Avenue - 1700 block of Linwood Avenue (Burton)
  • 1800 block of Linwood Avenue - 1900 block of Linwood Avenue (Burton)
  • 1900 block of Woodlawn Avenue (Burton)
  • 1700 block of East 27th Street (Burton Heights)
  • 2700 block of Pear Street (Burton Heights)

Suspect Arrested in connection to Burton fatal Shooting

   Article Written: January 30, 2025 7:39 AM 18 year old Kyleshania Pacley of East Erie was arrested. A suspect was recently arrested for being involved in a fatal shooting that killed a 21 year old man. Kyleshania Pacley of East Erie was arrested on charges relating to murder, robbery and unlawful theft. The shooting happened on January 17th in the 1800 block of Fairmount Parkway in the Burton neighborhood of East Erie. Canon McGarvey of East Erie was shot outside of his car and died three days later at UPMC Hamot. It is also known that Kyleshania Pacley is the daughter of Mauris Pacley who was shot and killed in 2021 at Bogey's Tavern, located at 2105 Buffalo Road in the Diehl neighborhood of East Erie. Erie Police are currently looking into why the argument took place which caused the shooting.
