 Teen Shot in Early Morning Southeast Erie Shooting

A 13 year old boy was arrested by Erie Police for shooting a 16 year old in the 2600 block of Wayne Street near East 26th Street in the Southeast Erie neighborhood of East Erie. The shooting occured outside a house at 12:30 am on Saturday. The 13 year old suspect is facing aggravated assault charges and is being held at the Edmund L. Thomas Adolescent Center in Millcreek Township. The 16 year old was flown to UPMC in Pittsburgh and is in critical condition.  Erie Police are still investigating the shooting and seeing if there were others involved.
