Erie Fire Department is planning on converting all of their locations throughout the City of Erie to Solar Power and to only operate on that instead. Here is the list of the locations who will be converting their power into solar.

  • Erie Fire Department - South Central (3507 Peach Street)
  • Erie Fire Department - Lakeside (1937 East Lake Road)
  • Erie Fire Department - Kingtown (832 East Avenue)
  • Erie Fire Department - Southeast Erie (1027 East 28th Street)
  • Erie Fire Department - Greater Kahkwa (1747 West 8th Street)
  • Erie Fire Department - Downtown Erie (208 West 12th Street)
  • Erie Fire Department - Baldwin Park (1740 West 26th Street)

Suspect Arrested in connection to Burton fatal Shooting

   Article Written: January 30, 2025 7:39 AM 18 year old Kyleshania Pacley of East Erie was arrested. A suspect was recently arrested for being involved in a fatal shooting that killed a 21 year old man. Kyleshania Pacley of East Erie was arrested on charges relating to murder, robbery and unlawful theft. The shooting happened on January 17th in the 1800 block of Fairmount Parkway in the Burton neighborhood of East Erie. Canon McGarvey of East Erie was shot outside of his car and died three days later at UPMC Hamot. It is also known that Kyleshania Pacley is the daughter of Mauris Pacley who was shot and killed in 2021 at Bogey's Tavern, located at 2105 Buffalo Road in the Diehl neighborhood of East Erie. Erie Police are currently looking into why the argument took place which caused the shooting.
