Erie Police Respond to Shooting at
432 East 28th Street
Marvintown, Erie, Pennsylvania


City of Erie Police are investigating a shooting after reports of a man getting shot in the leg on Sunday afternoon. This happened at around 4:30 pm on February 20th in the 400 block of East 28th Street near Florida Avenue in the Marvintown neighborhood of East Erie. The victim that was shot was taken to a local hospital and as of right now, we are unclear on how serious the victim’s injury is. Erie Police are still continuing to investigate.

 No Confirmation of Body Found in Lawrence Park is of Missing Lawrence Park Woman Article Added: November 15, 2023 at 2:04 PM Lawrence Park Police and Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a tragic sight Wednesday morning in Lawrence Park. Lawrence Park Fire Department was called to the Lawrence Park Golf Club at 3700 East Lake Road in Lawrence Park where a body of a woman was found at the mouth of Fourmile Creek. Lawrence Park Police and Pennsylvania State Police have blocked off Fourmile Creek Road, East Lake Road to Lawrence Parkway, Iroquois Avenue and Nobel Avenue while the investigation is ongoing. Erie County Coroner, Lyell Cook has not released the name of the victim but has stated that there is no fowl play involved.
