 Erie Police Investigating Shooting in East Bayfront

Erie Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Wednesday morning in the 400 block of East 5th Street near Parade Street in the East Bayfront neighborhood of East Erie. Gunshots ran out at 3:30 am which lead to a 30 year old man being shot in the leg. He was quickly taken to UPMC Hamot by a private vehicle. Erie Police are still investigating the shooting.

Suspect Arrested in connection to Burton fatal Shooting

   Article Written: January 30, 2025 7:39 AM 18 year old Kyleshania Pacley of East Erie was arrested. A suspect was recently arrested for being involved in a fatal shooting that killed a 21 year old man. Kyleshania Pacley of East Erie was arrested on charges relating to murder, robbery and unlawful theft. The shooting happened on January 17th in the 1800 block of Fairmount Parkway in the Burton neighborhood of East Erie. Canon McGarvey of East Erie was shot outside of his car and died three days later at UPMC Hamot. It is also known that Kyleshania Pacley is the daughter of Mauris Pacley who was shot and killed in 2021 at Bogey's Tavern, located at 2105 Buffalo Road in the Diehl neighborhood of East Erie. Erie Police are currently looking into why the argument took place which caused the shooting.
