 Erie Police Investigate Shooting in Southeast Erie

Erie Police are investigating a shooting the occurred in the 1100 block of East 26th Street near Brandes Street in the Southeast Erie neighborhood of East Erie near the Southeast Erie and Central Eastside neighborhood boundary lines. The shooting occurred around 1:30 am when the victim was shot in the lower right leg. The man told police that he heard gunshots while walking on East 26th Street and began to run and was shot. The victim had no idea where the gunshots came from and didn’t know if he was the intended target. Erie Police are still investigating the shooting.
