 Nelson's Trucking Opens in Former Mayer Construction in Burton Heights

Nelson's Trucking Company which is based out of Waterford, Pennsylvania has opened in the former Mayer Construction Company at 2703 Downing Avenue in Burton Heights. Mayer Construction which was closed since 2011 and the whole area had severe problems with dumping and ATV riding on the old gravel. Nelson's Trucking told Burton Neighborhood News that they are gonna start taking care of the two issues now and also put more security cameras up and around the factory. Nelson's Trucking opened on April 3rd and has since recently started making repairs and cleaning up most of the gravel and replacing it with dirt. With the new opening of Nelson's Trucking, the owners are hoping to help the Burton Heights neighborhood and start making the neighborhood alive once again.

 No Confirmation of Body Found in Lawrence Park is of Missing Lawrence Park Woman Article Added: November 15, 2023 at 2:04 PM Lawrence Park Police and Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a tragic sight Wednesday morning in Lawrence Park. Lawrence Park Fire Department was called to the Lawrence Park Golf Club at 3700 East Lake Road in Lawrence Park where a body of a woman was found at the mouth of Fourmile Creek. Lawrence Park Police and Pennsylvania State Police have blocked off Fourmile Creek Road, East Lake Road to Lawrence Parkway, Iroquois Avenue and Nobel Avenue while the investigation is ongoing. Erie County Coroner, Lyell Cook has not released the name of the victim but has stated that there is no fowl play involved.
