 New Arcade Opens Up at East Lawn Plaza in Diehl

A new arcade/video game store opened up in the Diehl neighborhood of East Erie today. BlurryRobot Retrocade is a video game store as well as an arcade. It’s one of the first arcades in East Erie since the 1990’s. “I wanted to open up an arcade in East Erie because this area is the most struggling part of the City of Erie, and having an arcade here is just the beginning of reviving the east side of Erie.” says the owner of BlurryRobot Retrocade. The store is located at 2523 Buffalo Road in East Lawn Plaza. (Corner of East Lawn Parkway & Buffalo Road in Diehl.)

 No Confirmation of Body Found in Lawrence Park is of Missing Lawrence Park Woman Article Added: November 15, 2023 at 2:04 PM Lawrence Park Police and Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a tragic sight Wednesday morning in Lawrence Park. Lawrence Park Fire Department was called to the Lawrence Park Golf Club at 3700 East Lake Road in Lawrence Park where a body of a woman was found at the mouth of Fourmile Creek. Lawrence Park Police and Pennsylvania State Police have blocked off Fourmile Creek Road, East Lake Road to Lawrence Parkway, Iroquois Avenue and Nobel Avenue while the investigation is ongoing. Erie County Coroner, Lyell Cook has not released the name of the victim but has stated that there is no fowl play involved. There is still no confirmation if the body that was found was 51 year old Kelly Ferko of Lawrence Park who disappeared on Sunday after walking out of her house in the 1000 block of Priestly Avenue with no shoes or coat, as well as without her purse and phone
