Man Stabbed Multiple Times in East Erie, Police Still Investigating Article Written: August 24th, 2021 at 1:33 PM Erie Police are investigating an incident that occurred with a 28 year old man who was stabbed multiple times in the 2000 block of Cottage Avenue in the East Erie neighborhood. Police were called before 12:30 AM to the 500 block of East 21st Street near the East Erie and Central Eastside neighborhood boundary lines, the victim explained he was stabbed multiple times by a black male while leaving his friends house on Cottage Avenue, according to the victim, he didn't recognize the male who stabbed him and claimed it wasn't any of his friends. The victim was taken to UPMC Hamot by ambulance for treatments. Erie Police are continuing to investigate on trying to figure out who the suspect is by looking at security footage and talking to witnesses in the area.
